Everyone is still confused about who God loves. They want to bet, even, that a lot of his care hinges on our sexuality – the complex and the simple. They want to talk about Him in the context of what they can figure out, but won’t do much study so that they can at least meet Him in understanding, nor will they give Him his due. He understands quite a bit more about all of this than we ever will, than our need to figure Him out, or to be right about what we think we know about Him and what He wants. We must go to Him for all things. And in search of our answers, we must meet the condition to receive His peace. It is within His peace that we get our answers. It is within his peace that we know we’re on the right road with the answers we have.

As the Scripture says: I will keep thee in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me.
